Cool Exclusive: Winter Water Factory organic clothing at Shak Shuka

September 15, 2011 by · Leave a Comment

I’m always on the lookout for organic kidswear brands that offer something a little bit different which US designer Winter Water Factory delivers in spades. While I’m a die-hard colour fiend that’s dressed her kids in a lot of Scandi prints, I also love more subtle patterns, and with prints like ‘High Seas’ (top) which [...]

Sukie pencil cases

November 19, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

As a youngster I was obsessed with stationery and it’s a love that’s stayed with me (as the enormous, overflowing box in our spare room testifies). Judging by the number of colouring pencils and crayons scattered around the house, Alfie is following in my footsteps. I’ve been on the lookout for a funky pencil case [...]

Organic Monkey

I popped into the Brighton Baby Expo this weekend, as it was only round the corner, and uncovered a few little goodies. As well as BG faves such as Happy Hopperz, Pili Pala and The Little Legs Company, I found some lovely companies to share with you. The one that most impressed is Organic Monkey, [...]

NaturalMat coco mattress

When you’re a new parent, you’ll pretty much try anything to get your baby to sleep. Hence, Alfie spent the first few months of his life swinging through the night in a Miyo Baby Hammock (very successful – would recommend to anyone), has been subjected to womb, rain and wave sounds (the latter just made [...]

Swaddlebee Organic Reusable Nursing Pads

Review: Ella’s Kitchen Sauces and Smoothies

November 11, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

They were brilliant when we were on the go with the bambino and I’ve missed them since she became too old for them, so of course I was delighted when Ethical Superstore sent me a few smoothies and one of their sauces to try out…. Value for Money – Like most ready made food, if you were to use it day in day out, it would be pretty pricey, however, as organic baby food goes, I think that the range is overall excellent value for money and certainly one of the cheaper options.
