Red Urchin organic clothing

January 13, 2012 by · Leave a Comment

I do love a new clothing label discovery. Red Urchin, founded by London mum Beth Bourrelly, consists of a small collection of tees and babygros in four shades with a variety of funky motifs – think penguins, robots, owls, dinosaurs. I particularly like the whale romper, £19.95, top, and the charcoal grey flying saucer [...]

March 12, 2010 by · 3 Comments

The design of modern cots and cot beds has improved immeasurably in the last few years and parents find themselves spoiled for choice when it comes to where their bambino will sleep at night. I was especially excited to see the newest addition to the market as not only is it beautifully designed it is [...]

Those of you who love your skincare goodies for yourself ((I’m willing the bambino’s godfather to hurry up and visit as he has a load of Kiehl’s for me after his recent US visit), especially if it’s organic, will no doubt be interested in a new range of baby spa products called Tiddley Pom. Jaya Loves Tekeko

June 16, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

Is it a cushion? Is it a toy? No, it’s a Kumo Friend, made from the softest organic cotton, bamboo and kapok in Miami by eco-friendly company Jaya Loves Tekeko. The cushion/toy hybrids come in six impossible-to-resist designs inspired by Japanese illustration, all as characterful as each other. With my love of all things wise [...]

If I had my way, I’d own most of the Ferm Living range which I saw in the flesh when I met up with the agents at Top Drawer Spring earlier this year. We’ve featured this Danish design company’s fabulous wall stickers which include height charts (plus I want their cushions, wallpaper, and tea tea [...]

Review: Ella’s Kitchen Sauces and Smoothies

November 11, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

They were brilliant when we were on the go with the bambino and I’ve missed them since she became too old for them, so of course I was delighted when Ethical Superstore sent me a few smoothies and one of their sauces to try out…. Value for Money – Like most ready made food, if you were to use it day in day out, it would be pretty pricey, however, as organic baby food goes, I think that the range is overall excellent value for money and certainly one of the cheaper options.

They’re a range of Soil Association certified baby skincare products that range between being 70-80% organic. As it’s a bit of a grey area when it comes to organic skincare [...]

Brenda writes… We’re a bit baby carrier obsessed here at Bambino Goodies and we’re definitely trying to find out what is available on the market as baby wearing becomes increasingly popular, but people don’t really know what’s out there in the UK. The Close Baby Carrier is a very stylish one piece made from luxurious [...]

Little Cherryrobot party bag from Little Cherry not only carry party bags (prices from £2.80) but have a great range of ethical party ware including biodegradable cutlery made from starch!… Perhaps the best way to beat the party bag problem is to hold a “make party” where the little ones make their own take home present – Bishybarnybees (Norfolk speak for ladybirds!)
