skitched-20100627-221347.jpgWe own a Leander cotbed, a yellow Brio Sleep, and one day if and when a third child enters the BG household, I reckon a cot or junior bed by NYC eco chic brand Oeuf NYC could be on the cards. Beautiful, uncluttered, contemporary design with that super desirable blend of functional meets style. I love the rounded and broad cot bars and the sleek contrast of the natural wood with the laminate.

The designer couple behind the brand are inspired by their own children and focus on making each of their pieces a “beautiful design” from the ground up with the materials which include wood from managed forests, water based varnishes and low VOC’s (volatile organic compounds).

The classic convertible lasts from birth to six years or if you’re switching up from another cot, there’s the junior bed. Available from mid July at Smallable starting from £441.25 for the junior bed plus they do cot top changers, chests of drawers and the hutch storage pictured, shelving, and the divine toy storage pictured ($337.69), all in a variety of natural finishes.

The clothes from OEUF NY are also so gorgeous! I bought a alpaca-sweater with mittens in the last winter sale at Zebre a Pois. I´m looking forward to see the new autumn/winter-collection!
