Summer Dresses by Aunty Ollie
I’m a super fan of Aunty Ollie, the limited edition collection of girls and boys clothing in enchanting vintage inspired prints, so of course I felt more than a tad excited when some big people’s pieces were finally added – fabulous maxi dresses and other summer styles including skirts in sizes 8-16 that are designed to flatter various body shapes.
Designer Jody sent me the apple print dress to check out and I showed it off pretty much immediately and got muchos compliments. Aside from hiding a multitude of sins like my post c-section tummy that I haven’t quite eradicated yet (cough), its got a real bohemian feel to it and you can wear it with straps or without. It’s a total departure from the atypical maxi dress prints and block colours I tend to see. Prices are quoted in $US (they’re based in Dubai) and range from $70-$100, and shipping is very low ($7).
