Stop the press! Huggle is online
Nat flagged up North London emporium Huggle as a must-visit destination when it opened back in late 2010. And now *drum roll* you can peruse the store’s delights at your leisure from the comfort of your sofa. Make sure you’ve got a cup of tea and a stock of biscuits though as there’s a lot to look at here – Huggle runs the gamut of baby, toddler and nursery goodies with everything from cleaning products to this rather splendid tree bookcase by NurseryWorks for an eye-watering £700.
I like the collection, particularly the prevalence of not widely available US labels such as JJ Cole (loving this ‘diapers and wipes pod’ in Orla Kiely-esque stem print for just £14) and Manny & Simon, who make ultra-cool eco wooden toys and rockers.
There are lots of practical items on offer – I’m rather fond of Kabalab’s I’m OK first aid kits and these nifty eco-friendly silicone travel place mats by Zoli, £18 – and you’ll find those bigger essentials, such as pushchairs from Baby Jogger, Phil & Ted’s and Stokke and cots by Bloom and Oeuf. Definitely one to bookmark.
