Stokke Xplory

xplory creamI have been a fan of the Stokke Xplory ever since they came out but I must admit that I believed that my love of it was focused around it’s futuristic appearance. Then I went to the Babyshow at Earls Court and got a full demonstration and fell in love with it all over again. I saw a woman pushing one around Kingston yesterday and I admit to having pushchair envy…

I used to wonder why the baby was so high up in these but it’s a pushchair that’s geared towards people who are keen to keep their babies above the dust and car fumes that are a part of city life. It has a few seat positions, can be used on two wheels (pulling it up stairs for instance), rubber interior wheels so you don’t worry about puncture, and makes a great highchair when you’re out. Tall parents must love this thing! Much as I love it, with my five foot three self, I still feel a bit dwarfed by it but it’s definitely a pushchair that’s more than just a futuristic look. Now all I need to get over is the price…

£769 for a total package that includes seat, carrycot etc from Lullaby’s
