Spring Summer 2010 at Green Baby

April 13, 2010 by · 1 Comment

Green Baby is the ethically conscious, planet friendly baby shop who for the last ten years have been offering natural choices to parents in the UK. They launched a brand new user friendly website last week and it is packed with the usual Green goodies. Their clothing is made from fairly traded, 100% organic cotton and this season’s offerings are some of their best yet.

The Spring Summer 2010 collection has a whole host of fabulous about it. Stripes and applique feature heavily as well as both bold and soft colours. The emblems and patterns are firmly childlike with no hint of a slogan in sight. The shapes are clean and there are no excessive pockets or details. Most of the tops have an envelope neck and the hem lines are gently rounded on some garments which looks gorgeous. One of their big strengths is that the majority of their clothing is gender neutral and will be loved by both boys and girls. I love the mix of basics and feature pieces which makes the collection supremely wearable and practical. Everything in the range seems to have been designed with comfort and fun in mind which is exactly what you want from children’s wear!

Green Baby also have an excellent selection of sun protection. The current range of sun creams goes up to SPF25 but they are currently developing an SPF50 paraben free  sun cream which should be in store in time for the summer.
