I am in love with these dressing up costumes from Savo & Pomelina, a Belgian company who create high quality fairy tale costumes. The designs are firmly rooted in story book illustration and allow the child to decide exactly who they are.I am particularly smitten with the dragon costume (above left) and the horse (not pictured) in the same style.

Each costume is handmade in Europe from mostly natural materials such as cotton and wool felt. These are the kinds of pieces which look made to last generations rather than a couple of years.

Prices are from £39.99 to £89.99 for individual costumes and £74.99 for play tents. Exclusively available in the UK from Toyella.
