Rockin’ Blocks

Building blocks are always a welcome gift for a new baby, but what if the recipient’s parents are less-than-traditional hipster urbanites? No problem. Head for Brooklyn-based Beebles’ Etsy store, where you’ll find the rather fabulous Rockin’ Blocks, which can be snapped up for $40, plus $14 shipping to the UK. Inspired by graf art, the glazed wooden alphabet blocks feature spray-painted letters in 11 styles, ranging from skull and crossbones to tribal. My favourite is this colourful old-school set (pictured), winging its way to our nursery as I write.
