Shoemare! Have just bought Cooper (14 months) his first shoes…he’s not quite walking but nursery wanted some for when he wallows in mud. I have been brainwashed by my middle England upbringing into thinking that I HAVE to buy Clarks (or at least something they sell in Russell & Bromley) but all the shoes are so awful! Girls shoes are just about OK but for boys it’s dodgy multi-coloured takes on bad velcro Grandad trainers…and that’s it.
Surely there are shoes that actually go with his Katvig/KikKid/Plastisock/TopShop (the poor lad) wardrobe? Any ideas anyone….at this rate he’s going to have to go barefoot forever (and we all know what happened to Harold’s daughter on neighbours, right?).
    Help!

You watch Neighbours? ;-) Well shall have to rise to the challenge and get hunting and round up a few shoes. Boys really don’t fare too well which is crying shame – you should start your own shoe label for boys! Apparently Startrite have alright pairs but think they may be more winter ish. I shall look for ‘cool’! Do you have a budget? Oh and try Fabulous Kids
