If you’re on the hunt for some interesting, affordable art for your child’s room, look no further. I collect Penguin Classics, so was ecstatic when a friend bought me Postcards from Penguin – a box of 100 cards depicting the distinctive book covers. This year, it’s the turn of the children’s division – say hello to this gorgeous box of postcards encompassing 70 years of Puffin book jackets. Titles range from picture books to teenage fiction, including classics such as Charlotte’s Web and Stig of the Dump and many were designed by famous names in British art and illustration. The majority are fabulous enough to frame and they would make brilliant thank you cards post-Christmas. £14.99 from Puffin.
