The new and rather hip Little Big Magazine is dedicated to the world of children’s design and is definitely one to bookmark. They also have a little shop where they exclusively stock the Plywood Enzo Animals by Momoll.

Just in case you have any doubt about what you’re looking at – it’s a plywood jigsaw that’s been created as a homage to celebrated Italian product and furniture designer Enzo Mari who has designed for some of my favourites including Alessi, Castelli, and Muji.

The idea of the jigsaw is to create your own hybrids. You get a llama, deer, crocodile, camel, elephant, and a moose and the bodies, legs, ears, or horns are interchangeable. They meet safety regs and apparently have a swallow protection for inquisitive little ones who feel the urge to shove things in their mouths.

Dimensions of each animal: 14 cm x 10 cm x 4 cm

At £35, this is a rather expensive jigsaw that is likely to be adored by Enzo and design aficionado’s and their discerning offspring.
