I have aspirations, weather permitting, to have a few picnics with the kids this summer but I have noted that now that I have two kids, we seem to have everything but the kitchen sink with us when we have to go somewhere! Hence why I like the idea of a picnic blanket that folds down to a slim messenger bag with the help of a detachable strap – woohoo! No bulk!
It’s a decent size at 150 X 150 cm when open and is made from water resistant material so you can plomp it down anywhere plus you can also wipe it clean. Available in khaki pink or grey green colourways in attractive stripes, they’re £28 each at Dinky Inc.
