Our Father’s Day Gift: Guitar Hero III – Legends of Rock

Guitar Hero III legends of RockNatalie writes…

We could live to regret this but the bambino and I have got daddy dearest Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock with Wireless Guitar Controller.

He’s already addicted to Mario Kart but I know he has ideas about being a rockstar in his own sitting room after trying this out at a friends.

The wireless guitar controller is in the shape of, yes you guessed, a guitar, and enables you to learn how to play easy right through to difficult rock songs from groups like Guns N Roses, The Sex Pistols, Metallica, and Pearl Jam.

I consider myself to be co-ordinated but when I had a go of this and attempted to play Welcome to the Jungle (oh that reminds me of my youth in Dublin!), I felt like an uncoordinated clutz. The boyf seemed to think he really was a rock legend as he thrusted at the TV and leaned back and forth getting into his tunes with gusto, so I guess the game is very good at convincing players that they really are guitar hero’s….

Naturally you need a Nintendo Wii to play this game!

Ideal for: gaming enthusiast and wannabe rockstar dads…

The RRP is £69.99 and we got ours from Amazon for £59.48
