With our camping week drawing to a close we want to know where your favourite campsites are.

Where have you been? Which sites would you recommend to other families? Where can children roam free and make friends? Where has the nicest showers?

Give us your recommendations in the comments section because there’s nothing like word of mouth for finding the gems.

    Breck farm, Norfolk.

Campfires, marshmallows, fresh eggs and oh so close to the sea.

I would highly recommend Vinatage vacations on the Isle of Wight. Just had the most brilliant weekend there with 9 other families.

Me and my sister with our two toddler girls just loved Billycan Camping near Arundel. Beautifully presented bell tents with divers and scatter cushions, big communal fire pit in the centre of the 12 or so tents but bet of all the welcome dinner you get in your arrival night and a delicious hamper of breakfast goodies from the owners own farm. Going for the second time this this year.

I’m reluctant to tell you all, but Mother Ivey’s Bay Campsite hits the spot. The site is spotless, no nasty clubhouse action, the staff helpful and it boasts the most beautiful private beach with soft golden sand and clear blue water. Lovely walks and great surfing beaches either side are nearly beated by posh nosh and nice shops in nearby Padstow – nearly!
