Océchou – Happy Design for Kids

I know I get excited about a lot of stuff (that’s what BG is all about!) but there are times when I have near email blindness…and then I click on a link and get dazzled by the fantastic delights before my eyes. That’s how I felt when I checked out Océchou by Nicole, a designer of ‘ethical and poetic objects’ that’s been inspired by her 3 year old daughter. Based in Switzerland, she’s designed stationary and decor accessories for kids under 8. Everything is ethically produced, so for instance all the paper products are FSC certified with 100% vegetable inks that are biodegradable.
Love, love, love, love, loving the serious piece of cuteness that is her wallpaper featuring a deer, fox, and robin and a quirky red riding hood. Prices range from 6.50 euro for badges to 46 euro for wallpaper.
