normann copenhagen play range

If I was feeling flush and had a grand or so to splash around on some furniture for the kids, it might just go to Danish designers Normann Copenhangen’s range of handmade pieces from their ‘Play’ range which is part of their New Danish Modern collection.

Designed by Jesper K. Thomsen in this years very hot colour, yellow, it’s made from varnished beech and features a table, £300, chair, £210, and a chalkboard for £300, plus there’s also a soapbox cart for (cough), £2150. Not for the faint hearted or those of us who are brassic! Still, as with everything from Normann Copenhagen, aside from being high quality, these are bound to be design classics so you can always pitch these as ‘investment pieces’…

The boyf and I are huge Normann Copenhagen fans so if you want to inject some into your home, we recommend their super stylish kitchen accessories of which we have several from when he was working in Denmark. In the meantime, the ‘Play’ range is available from the ever cool Bodie and Fou.
