Nina’s Bed

| October 6, 2011 | 2 Comments

I first saw Nina’s House last year when the prototype swept the design blogs. It is pretty impressive and at first glance my inner child had a case of the wanties.

Designed by Dave Keune to be a self contained room within your house, Nina’s Bed is a cosy cot, chest of drawers, changing station and play pen all rolled into one. The idea is based on your child having their own house within your house. One side features a cot which has an adjustable base and removable side converting it into a toddler bed. The reverse has a chest of drawers which open with a gentle push of the knee and a changing table on top.

The whole idea makes me smile although the price tag makes me wince a little. At £1,250 plus postage it is probably one of the most expensive beds we’ve featured.

Available form Monsters & Munchkins.

I wish you hadn’t posted this, I’d not looked at Monsters and Munchkins before but now I really want this bunk bed for my girls (definitely the most expensive bed…!)
