Elli writes…The fabulous Nordic Kids have just announced new spring/summer stock. I want it all! Here is my pick of the bunch.
On a grey Monday morning in February this Yellow Smiling Sun Short Body leapt off the page. It’s the babygro equivalent of a summer holiday and I felt better for just looking at it. 100% cotton, of course, it comes in 3 sizes, 0-3, 6-9 or 12-18 months for £23.50.
There’s lots more eye candy from Swedish label Mini Rodini, but to continue the style-with-a-smile theme, I also love the Flowers Print Tshirt (above right). There’s something about the flowers’ eyelashes and dreamy faces. Also 100% cotton in larger sizes of 12-18 months, 2-3, 4-5 or 6-7 years for £19.99.
Trusty old Katvig have some new twists on the usual themes. Who dreamt up flying fairy cows? Maybe they are part of Swedish folklore. Whatever, love them. The Grey Fairy Cow Print Leggings are a soft bamboo-cotton mix and come in seven sizes – 6, 9, 12 or 18, months or 2, 3 or 4 years for £15.99 with the two largest sizes at £18.99.
For something a little less whimsical, the Red and White Stripe Duck Print Suit from Danafae is bold and zany. 100% cotton, sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-18 months for £25.99.
Finally, from the new Elodie Details range, the Elephantasia Dummy Holder comes in at a reasonable £7.99. For those whom the top-of-the-range stroller bags by Elodie Details are a little out of price range (ie me), we can console ourselves with a taste of what this Swedish brand has to offer.
