New Decor Goodies at Yellow Lolly

I haven’t peeked in the nursery and decor section at Yellow Lolly for a bit so was very excited when I spotted several far too tempting new items from Cloud Cuckoo Designs, ISAK, Brights and Stripes, and Thorsten Van Elten. Here are a few of my favourites…
Thorsten Van Elten Pigeon Light by Ed Carpenter
Normally I haven’t a good thing to say about pigeons (load of them swarmed around me in Trafalgar Square when I was about 8…) but I want one of these very cool lights which can also been seen at London’s Design Museum.
Made in the UK, they’re available in green, yellow, grey, and the hot pink pictured. They’re suitable for any room (like my sitting room…) but would look fab in a nursery. It comes with a laundry peg perch and 25w bulb but you’ll need some flex pins. £59
Cloud Cuckoo Designs Decorative Cushion Cat
I’m a huge fan of Cloud Cuckoo Designs who we’ve raved about a few times. This striped cushion with contrasting edging and a cat applique will go with any of their ranges. 25 X 25 cm in 100% cotton. £9 Also check out their really scrumptious reversible laundry bags.
Isak Screen Printed ABC Poster
ABC posters are that quintiessential decor piece that you need in your modern nursery and Swedish graphic designer Sandra Isaksson has done this quirky poster. As always I had to check to see how she got an even number of rows – V&W are together. Frame not included but they do fit Ikea’s Ribba frames. £24
Brights and Stripes Blue Bird Blanket/Wrap
I had to go for birds again here as it’s a very cool refreshing change from their already super popular stripes and dots ranges. As an owner of one of their blankets, I can assure you they wash well and look like new long after you buy them. This is made from a double layer of soft cotton and is 95 X 70 cm. £19
