New Baby Must Have: Hotpoint Aqualtis

December 3, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

This may seem like a bit of a strange one but I can wholeheartedly say the day my Hotpoint Aqualtis arrived was one of the best days I had post baby. There are so many reasons I love my washing machine and here are just a few.

The amount of washing you do when you have just one tiny baby is phenomenal and it doesn’t seem to go down. When I had my old machine it seemed to be going all the time and the noise seriously got on my nerves! There are two reasons why the Aqualitis is perfect for the family; firstly, it is super silent. Compared to my old machine I could barely hear it when I first used the Aqualtis. No worries about waking the baby or disturbing the neighbours, it is quiet enough to put on at any time.

Secondly, the large drum size. Depending on which model you have you can get up to 9kg in the machine at once which is one hefty load. As it takes so much washing you don’t have to use it so often and fewer washes to do means less work and electricity. It has a heap of other great features such as delayed start (I use this for early morning washing), child lock and pause all of which make life as a new Mama much easier. If you’re pregnant and thinking about a new washing machine I would definitely recommend looking at these.

Boots Kitchen Appliances have great prices and speedy delivery as well as offering Advantage Card points (a whole lot of mascara!). The Hotpoint Aqualtis starts at £292.
