Long time readers of BG will know that amongst the numerous things we have a thing about, flash cards are right up there – check out Lucy’s round up of funky flash cards. We’ve got the Baby Einstein animal flashcards, Eric Carle’s, some from Wee Gallery, and this excellent set on a loop by Mudpuppy.
Brilliant for using when we’re out and about without fear of any being lost or them spilling out of the pack on the train, the girls love this set. Featuring gorgeous illustrations in non toxic ink, one side features the letter and a nature image, and the other side shows the letter in upper and lower case with another picture, plus other nouns that begin with the letter. You can detach the cards from the loop so that you can shuffle them up, group by colour etc plus of course you can use them as artwork in their bedroom/nursery or playroom. £9.99 Lula Sapphire where they also have the counting set version.
