My Wondercube
The bambino loves to pull out wet wipes from their pouches and no matter how old she gets, she seems to find it highly amusing to pull them out at high speed and just to ensure that they can’t be put back in their pouch, she starts wiping herself, her toys, or even the furniture….
That’s why I think these My Wondercubes which imitate the wet wipe concept…without the wipe, are such a nifty concept. The invention of mumpreneur Helen Twigge-Moleey, a finalist in ITV’s Mumpreneur competition last year, she came up with this educational toy after watching her own daughter do the same thing as the bambino.
Made from fairtrade appliquéd organic woven cotton or jersey (Little Wonders for birth to 4 years), or wood with non toxic paint (Big Wonders for ages 2-6 years), they feature a string of coloured swatches, with each having its own texture such as corduroy and velvet (with organic cotton backing) plus some, for example, jingle, squeak, or crinkle.
The swatches can be pulled apart and put back in any order, and so that it can grow with the needs of your child, you can buy additional fillings for them such as printed or appliquéd letters, numbers, and shapes which range from 99p for individual letters up to £19.99 for full sets.
