It has to be acknowledged that there are some supremely talented illustation artists working in the UK today. I just adore the work of Marcus Walters who has a small selection of gorgeous works in his shop. You may have already seen his work on the Pizza Express kids’ menu, in Anorak or at Howies. Regular readers know I could fill every wall in my house with alphabet posters and this My First Alphabet is my new favourite. It is a cheery print of an original collage measuring 70 x 50 cm and printed on high quality recycled stock. There is a space for the recipient’s name which Marcus will write himself if you let him know when ordering. At just £14.50 this is one tempting piece of affordable art.
