Moccis

Kat writes…We first saw these at Bubble last month. Despite being over awed by the array of goodness on the stand (more of that another time) Natalie spied these beauties and went crazy – that girl could spot a hot product blindfolded.

Moccis are the work of fashionista and Mumpreneur Anna. She realised Swedish Moccasins were a must have for all toddlers. Their leather soles prevent slipping while their soft socky uppers keep little feet toasty warm. As they are flexible they allow your bambino’s feet to move naturally as they explore and scamper about. Best of all they are washable (yes, even though they are leather) so it doesn’t matter what kind of mess your toddler makes.

ToddlerGeek has been hard at work testing a pair of these and she is very pleased with them. We have wooden floors so I often leave her barefoot (and chilly) rather than in slippy socks. She has been wearing her Moccis everyday for a week now and not only have her feet been toasty warm but she hasn’t slipped up once. I’ve washed them and they came out looking as good as new. They don’t fall down or get baggy at the toe like socks or feel tight at the ankle like some soft leather shoes. Often she pulls off socks in frustration but the Moccis have not succumbed to this treatment – a testament to their supreme practicality and comfort.

They are currently available in three styles: Blue clouds, Pink Stars and Black Stars all are made from ecotex certified yarn and natural leather. They all have a yellow star just above the heel. Take a look below to see that styles hopefully coming soon (I’m dying to get my hands on the red apples on blue). What I really want to know is when will they have Mama sizes? Currently they come in 18/19 – 24/25.

I can’t say a bad thing about them as they are one of those baby products which is just dripping with features to recommend it. You can pick up a pair for your bambino from Moccis for £15.
