Maverick Baby

It’s a while since we found a sling which caught our eye, that is until Maverick Baby got in touch with us. They are a brand new boutique carrying a select range of slings and accessories. They currently stock a few brands of sling including: Didymos, Kokadi and Easycare Woven Wraps as well as accessories including MaM baby wearing coats. Set to grow in 2011, if you’re looking for a stylish new wrap this is one store to bookmark now.

I am very taken with the Easycare Woven Wraps (pictured above and below) which have colour bands which tone or contrast with the main sling colour. They measure either 4.7m or 5.2m although they seem to be sold out of 5.2m in every colour. They are made from 100% Oeko-tex certified cotton and are said to be super soft. The Kokadi wraps are bright, have stars woven into the cloth and even come in children’s sizes. Prices for slings are £75 – £99.
