Every high street store is getting in on the maternity action and creating their own maternity range and Marks and Spencer is no different. Described as “Fashionable. Flattering.Comfortable” it features lots of bold print fabrics, trousers, and jeans.
I have to say - It really isn’t too my taste! If there is one tip that I can give to online retailers, it’s make sure that your clothes look flattering on the models and that they are wearing the right shoes! I blessed myself a couple of times!
But…if you would normally buy clothes from M&S and aren’t a slave to high fashion, AND you like your jeans on the very baggy side, you can’t go too far wrong with their collection!
Maternity Ditsy Print Tea Dress £35
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t spot some bargains to be had! Here are a couple of highlights:
Maternity Batwing Sleeve Tabbed Cuff Top now £12 was £19.50
I really like this batwinged top which could be jazzed up with a chunky chain to chic it up a bit. Available in size 8, 10 or 12. 100% viscose.

Maternity Pure Cotton Pointelle Cardigan now £7 was £15
I would actually wear this cardigan, bump or no bump, but the style is very flattering when you’re blooming. Only available in size 16 though.
Maternity Short Sleeve Ruffle Front Top now £5 was £15
Simple and stylish, this top has a clever cut to adjust with your growing bump. 100% viscose. Nice price too! Available in sizes 8 through to 20!

Went to buy some trousers for DH and stumbled into day #1 of the sale - hurrah!
Picked up some sleeping bags for £5, lots of cute t-shirts and some nice spots & stripes for mio bambino. Can’t believe I didn’t make it as far as the mama sale, having a baby really does change you :0)
