Manuella Design Backpacks

Whenever the bambino is out and about, strolling with her Little Life Animal Daysack, people always comment on it and ask where we got it from and I know as she gets older, she’ll have other bags in her collection because she’ll be like her mum with a multitude of bags.
I don’t normally do cute but I do like cool and these Manuella Design Backpacks which come in a ‘Doggy’ and ‘Kitty’ version are definitely very cool. They’re part of the The Conran Shop’s Christmas collection and have been designed by Israeli artist Merav Flam who does rather cool soft toys and furniture for discerning children.
At £35 each, these are at the upper end (although not the most expensive) of your backpacks for children but they are handmade from corduroy jeans with Doggy and Kitty’s facial features embroidered on. The corners of the bottom of the bags remind me of doudou comforters and I love their ears, especially the Doggy’s floppy ones. It can be carried as a backpack or handbag, plus its adjustable handle means it can be connected to your pushchair.
