Mamas and Papas Skate Pushchair

mamas and papas skate pushchairI love the ‘Skate’. Buying a new pushchair is a challenging experience which you end up expending a huge amount of mental energy on as you try to balance buying something practical with something desirable that you love.

The Mamas and Papas Skate has integrated the pram and seat into one space saving unit and you should check out the videos to see how cool and innovative this new design is.

Baby can face in either direction and the seat unit moves up and down the chassis and tilts and reclines so your baby has different vantage points.

It is ever so slightly reminiscent of the Quinny Buzz but Skate has managed to achieve space saving devices and minimising steps to actually use it which could make it quite a serious contender in the pushchair wars.

Check out the full features at Mamas and Papas. £575.

We love our skate. It looks great and just manages to ‘skate’ around the supermarket with my toddler in tow has just been a dream. And lots of storage underneath – very handy. The design is really clever – they way it comes apart and snaps back together is very intuitive and no rattling anything into place with this pram. You can play with the different adjustments to get it just the way you want it and it collapses down really easily too. It’s great that the car seat works with the pram and easily – would just say that it would have been useful if the two parts to do this could have been stored somewhere in the car seat or the pram. Apart from this pretty much just perfect…

Thanks for your comment. It’s great to get an insight into the day to day use of the pushchair. I like the choice of word “intuitive” – it’s so nice when you don’t have to think and you don’t have to do yourself in with effort! I’m going to try one out soon so I look forward to it!
