Little black socks (from….sshhh!) Baby K at Mothercare

It really irritates me that, having spent a small fortune on my little darling’s outfit, I can’t find the right socks to go with it. And we all know that the devil’s in the detail right? So, at this time of year when the colours have got a little darker, and my fave Trumpette bright stripey socks no longer work with everything, what I really need are a little black pair to pop on.
Who would have thought it, but Mothercare have come up trumps! I nearly fell over when I saw something in there that I actually liked. Part of Myleene Klass’s new ‘Baby K‘ collection, there are boys’ and girls’ versions. They come in 3s (alas, not all black) and cost £7.99.
With this whole credit crunch malarky I can’t be treating myself to any new little black frocks, but surely my bank manager can’t baulk at little black socks. Ooh, does that mean I can treat myself to some posh Wolford tights too?!
