Natalie writes…I have been keeping an eye out for Mash N Gravy to get their Limo Basics pieces in. The Barcelona based label specialises in cool baby basics in a delicious colour palette and they have a store there called Limobebe that’s regarded as the most colourful baby shop in Barcelona. I can well believe it!

I am loving these dazzlers in neon and super brights! ‘Baby 2′ is definitely going to be wearing some of this gear!

From left to right:

I’m a huge fan of leggings with feet for babies (the bambino had a couple of super cool pairs from Gap when she was dinky) and this fab lime green pair made from nicky velour (80% cotton and 20% polyester) are a big screaming beacon that says ‘pastels not necessary!’ Only in 6 months. £9 There’s also a matching long sleeved doublet (kimono) for £12.

They have these cool pyjamas (read: bodysuits) in the blue (pictured), plus fuschia and lime, and they’ve been funked up with detail – high neck and front pocket, poppers on the back, and seam detail across the back for fit. These are so gorgeous, I’m sure you’d be tempted to slip them into daytime wear. £18

hot buy bambino goodies logoThis style of sleeping bag is huge in the US (they’re brilliant when doing those frequent nappy changes in the middle of the night) and a staple when parents buy their basics, yet they’re not widely used here in the UK. A really practical buy, the Limo Basics version which features the usual drawstring across the bottom to cosy your newborn up, comes in white, blue, lime, and the red pictured for £18.
