I loved illustrator Marion Deuchars’ book Let’s Make Some Great Art (Laurence King, RRP £12.95) when it came out last year and bought it for a few friends’ children, so I was delighted to see there was another book on the horizon that would be suitable for younger kids.

Totem poles, emotions, aliens, animals, dinosaurs, balloons – you name it, you can make it from a fingerprint. Great fun and a brilliant activity to have stored for a rainy day. Just add ink.
