iLoom Light-up Balloons

illoom balloon kids playing with illoom balloons

As soon as I saw these light-up balloons on Babygadget, I decided that next party we have, we’ve got to have them.
The concept is by a Brit inventor who was originally secured investment on Dragon’s Den for his Waterbouy concept (a location beacon for essential items that fall in water) which he later turned down the money for to turn the Waterbouy into these iLoom Balloons that work by pulling the end of them to activate the LED light which stays lit for 15 hours, although I have read reviews on some sites that say they last for longer.
Adding some wow factor to the humble, classic balloon, they’re £2.99 for a pack of 5 or £10 for four packs at Hawkins Bazaar plus they seem to be widely available at all the major supermarkets according to the iLloom Balloon website. A party piece that will be loved by kids and adults alike, they also make great fillers for party bags.
