Hot Toybox Buy! Habitat Storage Box

After a recent shopping trip, my other half and I agreed that Habitat is totally on top of its game at the moment. The store was chock full of stylish swag. We could have come home with a boot full, but managed to exercise restraint and stick to things we actually needed rather than just impulse want-one buys. We’ve been on the hunt for a toy box for a while and I can faithfully report back that this large storage box fits the bill.
It’s a good size (W55cm x H32cm x D35cm) and just happens to be the perfect height on which our little one can practice pulling up to standing. The lacquered finish means sticky finger marks, but nothing that doesn’t buff away easily with the edge of your sleeve – or even a duster, if you’re feeling fancy. The colour is described as ‘thistle grey’ which is a posh way of saying sludgey purple. The turquoise corners add a bit of interest. This is not a look which screams toy box, which is just what we were after. £45 from Habitat.
