Hot This Week

Velour
I’m not thinking mini Jenny on the Block Juicy couture tracksuits but I am thinking the new Krutter range at The Hedgepig. Very funk-a-rama!
Being your own obstraetician
Well…sort of… Hi-Baby has a Baby Sonic fetal doppler rental service which means that for £29.95 a month, you can rent out this high performance heart montitoring number from as early as 10 weeks and even hook it up to a recording device! Love it! The boyf thinks I shouldn’t have one though as I’d be ‘obsessive’…
StrangeCo Wish Come True
We wrote about these wibbly, wobbly wonders earlier and I’m quite fascinated. They have a built in chime so they make a gentle sound. They kind of remind me of the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. £5.75 from Designer Toy Store.
Thrupenny Bits
I never thought I would call a breastfeeding pillow sexy but that day has come! You can even use them as a bag afterwards! They’re being featured later today but all I can say is, love it! Check them out at Thrupenny Bits!
Lapin and Me
Forget the hood, Lapin and Me is dangerous! Everything is so gorgeous and so clickable, and so it-would-be-so-easy-to-add-that-to-my-trolley! Perfect for gifts and cool things to make your nursery/playroom look hip. Go forth and spend there now!
Ebay
I know, I know, I mentioned this one before! But seriously! It’s still hot! There is something pleasurable about swooping in on someone and nabbing a bargain, even though the boyf and I are still annoyed that we got gazumped 30 seconds before the close of auction by some guy called Chav-something or other. Honestly, sell off anything you don’t want/need anymore…and then buy more stuff! Products with a great resale value include Bumbo seats, GroBags, Vital Baby Nappysafe, Beaba Babycooks, most pushchairs especially Quinny’s and Bugaboo’s and clothing is big. The key is not to price too low though when it comes to your clothing…but don’t go too high…
Clothes Swapping
Forget the fact that LiLo (Lindsey Lohan) is the face of Visa Swap and think more about the fact that this is another opportunity to clear out anything you don’t want and do your bit for sustainability. The basic idea for Visa Swap is that you swap clothing for points which can be used to buy more clothing. It seems to be a London thing though as you can only drop off clothes in Convent Garden or get then collected in Brick Lane or Portobello Road. Now I know some readers are partial to a handbag or clothing habit, but if you’d rather swap baby clothes, I did come across EBabyLand.
