Hot shop: Sprout Kingdom
Hurrah for the internet! I’ve started buying a lot more children’s clothing from overseas sites lately. The wow factor of something not seen on every other child in the park, plus, recently, less prohibitive shipping costs are what attracts me to places like Lindex and Danefae and I’ve just discovered another destination – Sprout Kingdom.

Based in the Netherlands, the store stocks two of my favourite labels – the deliciously retro Danish brand AlbaBaby (check these divine dungarees, €52.95, above) and eternally funky Swedish Plastisock – in addition to its own signature organic cotton collection (think vintage-look print dresses, top, and vibrant leggings).
I’m also loving the star-patterned wet weather gear from Ducksday, SaWaDi Holland’s simple Thai-inspired frocks and the bold motif tees from Ietje Company, €24.95 (above). Shipping to the UK is €8.50.
