Dorothy & Theodore

If you’re on the hunt for handmade goodness for your little ones, look no further than Dorothy & Theodore, an online children’s boutique. Founded by two mamas, Sally and Emma, the shop offers a huge range of goodies from organic clothing to unusual toys with the emphasis on handmade and the majority of products from the UK. There are sections dedicated to maternity wear, from the likes of Alice B, party – think bunting and cupcakes – and stationery (loving Cecily Mae’s personalised neon invitations), but it’s the children’s gear that’s stand out.
My cool buys are, firstly, Colour Me Fun’s name crayons, top, from £3, which would be so cool as party favours in cellophane bags. You can also buy the entire alphabet for £11.50. Second up is the amazing wooden La Cosa Magic Wheels – a tricycle that converts into a balance bike, giving you two ride-ons for the price of one. Love the retro styling and the longevity – it will last your child from 18 months to 6 years.
Finally, I’ve picked these alpaca wool blankets, above, that look almost too gorgeously soft to hand over to baby. They come in three different sizes, from £35, and nine colours. Dreamy. A fab destination for stylish gifts and accessories for littlies’ bedrooms. Follow them on Twitter @DollyandTeddy.
