As affordable shoes for kids go, Livie & Luca are my favourite! Ever since I featured them a few months back, the girls have been asked so many times where their shoes are from. They’re charming, stylish, eco friendly, and totally blow apart the kids shoe market that veers sharply between being too twee and overpriced.

I saw the forthcoming collection at Bubble, the kids fashion trade show a couple of months back, and they’re seriously hot! Praise be for colourful boots with contrast detail, sweet Mary Janes, supercute soft baby shoes, deliciously retro velcro fastening shoes, and even women’s shoes inspired by the “joyful essence of childhood” that incidentally coordinate with your mini-me’s pairs. What sets Livie & Luca apart, aside from the eco, style and price credentials, is that there’s much on offer for both sexes.

Available from September (don’t worry I’ll shout about it), you should also nip over now and seize some bargains as most pairs from Spring/Summer are £19.80 down from around £32.99.

what gorgeous shoes – so gutted there were none of the Pio Pio’s in my little girl’s size left (or even the next 2 sizes up!!), obviously very popular will be checking back for the winter collection x

We love Livie and Luca – I first found them last winter and bought shoes for my 3yo boy and 2yo girl – they still look lovely now although of course they don’t fit anymore. I’m about to make some choices for this season – so many gorgeous shoes to choose from. They are the best children’s shoes I’ve found, so cool, comfy, eco and without the hefty price tag. Shame my now 4yo boy’s feet are too big now, but I’ll probably just console myslef with two pairs for my now 3yo girl !
