This year we are on a serious budget so when it comes to buying gifts for kids I am having to be ruthless. Being ruthless does not mean I am cutting corners though, I still want fabulous presents just without the price tag. Lynley Dodd has an extraordinary talent for putting an engaging tale into rhyme with delicious words and marvellous names for her characters. Her books are a big favourite in this house and I think there are few authors out there with her talent for language writing today.
