Helen Dardik Animal Alphabet

Yes, you read correctly. One of our all-time favourite illustrators, Helen Dardik, has only gone and produced an animal ABC. And it’s a goodie, with a jellyfish that says, ‘Hey!’, a nifty newt and a unicorn all realised in glorious technicolour and Dardik’s signature quirky style. The only cuckoo in the nest is the apple representing A – why not an ape or anteater? That said, I still love it and it’s a mere $25 (plus $7.50 p&p to the UK). Bargain.
