Handmade Bodysuits at Peruvian Knitwear

Vintage baby body, pima cotton
Natalie writes…

Ah…imagine if you could afford to have your bambino wear handmade bodysuits… That’s what these delicate looking little numbers are from Peruvian Knitwear.

These vintage baby body suits are made from the best mercerised pima cotton which I had to do a bit of digging on. In essence, this is similar in quality to high quality Egyptian cotton. Although it’s a light fabric it provides really good warmth and the ‘mercerised’ bit is about the fact that the cotton has been treated to make the cotton smoother and shinier.

Basically (I’m knackered now…) it’s luxury cotton.

It’s been hand finished with pink borders and it’s one of those things that you’d love to get gifted to you. They do last while size wise it seems as they’re in 0-6 and 6-12 months. Let it get worn plenty of what is sure to be a stonkingly cold winter and get the cost per wear down. And yes, this is a hand wash only item!

They’re £22.75 each but there is a lengthy delivery time of 28 days – straight from Peru maybe? You can also get it with cream borders.

OMG those are seriously adorable. If I were having a girl I would break down and buy at least one. I wish I had someone to buy it for as a gift. :(
