Hand-stitched children’s artwork by DesignsByDotty

As parents, we can often find ourselves trying to come up with ideas for preserving our little one’s artwork, or as a potential gifter, you may be on the lookout for a killer gift with long lasting impact, and I love these hand-stitched canvasses by DottyByDesign.

They take your child’s art work either digitally or by post and they craft it onto a canvas, and you can frame it or put it onto a canvas board.

Available from Designs by Dotty starting from £50. Price depends on detail and framing.

The idea of hand stitching children’s pictures is taken from Amanda Soule’s blog, SouleMama and her book, The Creative Family. There are lots of other great ideas in there for preserving children’s art if you don’t have the time to stitch them yourself, or if you don’t have the money to pay someone to do them for you!
