skitched-20100709-101024.jpgI’m a hardcore fan of Blabla Kids, a scrumptious range of knitted toys designed by Florence Wetterwald that are right up there on my hot knitted toy meter with Anne-Claire Petit’s delights.

Knitted in Peru by artisans from natural cotton in a fairtrade environment, we’ve featured several of their dolls which are perfect for both boys and girls – we own a big Coco doll which I originally got for Saria but has been treated with far more love by Nia who absolutely adores her.

One of my favourite online boutiques Mash N Gravy has got a host of their delights including their dream rings £38-£45 with the owl of of course being my favourite, to yummy bird and fruit rattles £18-£25 which are full of charming character and detail, supercute backpacks £25 masking as a monkey, butterfly, frog, and ladybird , and enchanting carousels, £70, like the amazing sheep fest.

I’m seriously hearting them and the baby treats in particular make wonderful gifts. If you’d like to check out the dolls, I found some at Small World Kids – they’re divine!

For more animal fantastic mobiles, check out my recent post on Kalika’s stork and the baby and their funky birds.
