French Bull Children’s Dinnerware

Natalie writes…Melamine continues it’s burst of cool with the New York designed French Bull range of children’s mealtime accessories. They’ve been putting their own spin on melamine for nearly seven years using brilliant graphics, high colour, and edgy patterns to bring together collections of cool, vibrant homewares and the funny thing is that the boyf and I brought some in the US almost 18 months ago without realising! Much of their offerings have been designed by fairly heavyweight graphic designer Jackie Shapiro who brings together wild graphics and colours unashamedly.

Examples of the type of gear to get your mitts on are their compartment trays (pictured top) which are BPA free and have a cover, making them handy for transporting food around in style. £20 Groovy Mummy. The one pictured is their ABC Compartment Tray.

French Bull - Superhero Melamine Plate Set
Over at Funky Bubba they sell their very cool superhero plate sets featuring quirky super ‘animal’ heros against retro graphic backdrops, that are great for snazzy dinnertimes, picnics, and parties. These are also BPA free plus they’re shatterproof and dishwasher safe. £20

Small Plate by French Bull - ringsI’m also liking this small psychedelic plate which has fast become a French Bull classic and is £6 from Nubie.
French Bull aren’t available widely but the best spots for children’s dinnerware have definitely got to be Nubie and Funky Moose.
