There are so many wonderful goodies to be found on Folksy and Etsy that each week we’re going to round up our favourites…
Now this is bunting with a twist! Nickynackynoo (loving the name) sells these handmade traffic jam buntings on Folksy, the UK’s answer to Etsy. They’re made from felt (you know I’m a felt obsessive) with button wheels hanging from grosgrain ribbon. To get an idea of scale, the cars buses are 15.5 cm in length. £20 each
Northumberland based Storeyshop on Etsy have these adorable sock monkeys, $40, in a host of stripes and polkas in yummy colourways, plus they do handcut cards if you fancy being a bit extravagant with a greeting, which range from $7 up to $12.50 for custom cards.
Another Folksy seller Willo has these wonderfully quirky, vintage feel hand knitted baby slippers made from ‘Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino’ (left) and mohair and silk (right). £10 each in 0-3 and 3-6 months.
Stop..hammertime! Loving these funk-da-funk ‘Baba pants’ from Etsy seller RosieGoa that are just begging your baby to break out some killer moves. They’ve got an elasticated waist with shell buttons on the leg opening. Sizes 6 and 9 months. $28.
Sara Carr’s handmade lambswool goodies are delightful (I mentioned her in my first post about Folksy). These robot cushions are scrumptious and available in a selection of cool colourways. £40 each and made to order.
