Five Fab Father’s Day Gifts

Claire writes….

With Father’s day fast approaching, I thought I would compile a little list of my favourite gifts available for daddy’s special day.

Daddy Rocks T-Shirt by Nappyheads

I am normally a fan of slogan t-shirts, but I had to have these “My Daddy/Baby Rocks” ones, from Nappyhead, on my Father’s Day gift list. What Daddy wouldn’t love this to open on his Sunday morning? And I know my boys would love to have a t-shirt just like Daddy’s. As well as being fantastically cool, they are also made from 100% organic cotton, and have non-toxic prints, so there is no chance of them causing any irritation. Priced at £30 for both, they won’t break the bank, either.

If Daddy wears a suit to work, or even if he doesn’t, these sterling silver cufflinks are fabulous! You send your child’s santa and tree cufflinks from AM Jewellery drawing by email, and the lady cleverly transforms it into a wearable work of art. I think it is a wonderful idea, and the results are amazing, and totally unique. If art is not your little one’s forte, you can always choose these locket cufflinks, from Berapt instead. Made of sterling silver, and available with the option of as monogram, Daddy can see a photo of his baby whenever he wants.

send a grape vine

For those Fathers who like a little tipple (and I have yet to find one who doesn’t!) you can choose to get them more than a boring old bottle of wine, by combining it with their very own vine from The Gluttonous Gardener! There are many other tasty options to choose from, but I am guessing the plant will last the longest!

Father's Day Montezuma's Luxury Handmade Artisan ChocolateFor all those chocoholic Daddies, what better gift than these delicious chocolates from the award winning chocolatier, Montezumas? Designed specifically for Fathers Day, the selection is sure to be gobbled up in no time! There’s a great range of prices too, with assortments starting from just £4.50 for a truffle bag!

Me and My Dad! (Paperback)

Finally, for a gorgeous stocking-filler gift, there are loads of very sweet “Daddy” books to choose from. All babies love be read to and looking at lovely pictures, and what better way to spend a bit of Daddy time, that looking through a book together, or having a cosy bedtime story? My particular favourite is “Me and My Dad!” by Alison Ritchie.

Happy Father’s Day!
