If cheerful, contemporary reggae music with a strong social message is your thing, you’ll love Family Time, a new album from Ziggy Marley (yes son of the late, great Bob) aimed at children. This uplifting collection of tunes features a host of guests including Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson, members of his family, and er…Jamie Lee Curtis narrating a couple of stories on the end. Instantly memorable, I listened to a few tunes and found myself humming them for the rest of the day which is no small feat in my mushy brain! Aside from the beautiful, storytelling lyrics, the band is fantastic and you may find yourself playing this even when the kids aren’t around. You can get it at all the usual suspects and on iTunes it’s £7.99 for the album.
