Euro Pushchair Envy: Quinny by Henrik Vibskov

I have had a se-ri-ous droolfest over the limited collection for Quinny that has been created by Dutch fashion designer (and musician and filmmaker), Henrik Vibskov.
Despite honing his craft at Central St Martins, I see that he didn’t make sure that the collection was stocked in the UK as the strictly limited range is only available in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg. Why oh why oh why???
You can view the a-mazing collection at Quinny Design. He’s done matching sunglasses for your baby and you (a bit overkill but OK), umbrellas, motifs to stick on them, bags, and there is definitely a Pucci-esque vibe on a lot of the gear.
He has sprinkled his magic over the Zapp, Buzz, and the Dreami Carricot (loving the red mosquito net), and I love the black frame, the leather handles, and the wheels that remind me of spin-tops that I used to play with as a kid.
I checked through all of the European stockists listed and I couldn’t find any pricing. All I know is I want one! For now though my English peeps, we shall have to settle for lusting from afar… Unless of course you happen to be in any of these countries on a little holiday…

you can buy it from vibskov’s site http://www.henrikvibskov.com … get it shipped to Uk … thats what im doing =)

I have had this pushchair for a couple of months now (I sold my ICandy to get it when my daughter was just a few weeks old!) as I completely fell in love with it. I got it from an ebay shop in Germany and had it shipped over. I have never seen anyone else here with it and have had many admiring glances, I can’t speak highly enough of it. My best buy ever, I just wish I had had it for my other 2 girls.
