Nearly a year ago I wrote about the Customisable Cardboard Cot by Album Di Famiglia from BG favourite Little Fashion Gallery which came in at a whopping £154.99 but I have now found a slightly more wallet friendly alternative with the Eco Cradle.

It’s made mostly from recycled material and is also recyclable and folds up and down quickly so you could even treat it like a travel cot. It’s been protected with an environmentally friendly, non-toxic fire retardant so it complies with all the appropriate European safety standards.

Like your typical cradle, it’s only suitable for the first few months (the Album Di Famiglia cot is 0-9 months) but it’s not intrusive, it’s eco friendly, and it’s sturdy and built to last. You can of course decorate it (I would) or leave it in its natural state.

Assembled size: 64cm W x 83cm L x 64cm H and the mattress, which isn’t included should be size 74cm x 36cm.

I’ve seen the Eco Cradle on sale for up to £60 but I did find it at Beaming Baby for £44.99. The mattress is £24.99 at ECOutlet. If you saw this on The Apprentice, check out our product highlights from the show.
