Day 9: The Great Autumn Winter Coat Hunt – Simple Kids Bargain

If I was loaded, Alex and Alexa, an online store with designer childrens delights from superbrands including Roberto Cavalli, would be one of my weaknesses. I was eyeing up some of their more expensive numbers (some to be featured next week) but spotted that they have reductions dotted throughout their coat section, and one of them was this fab jacket for boys by Simple Kids.
I do love a bargain and this quilted jacket in brown check with fleeced hood is a smart yet casual number that will take him right through the season. The pockets remind me of shirt pockets and the checked pattern lifts the coat keeping it out of ordinary territory. It’s 75% wool, 15% acrylic, and 10% polyester. It was £105 and it’s now £50 which is slightly less than half price. But…it’s only in size 2 years.
This jacket will look great with jeans or smart trousers, but don’t go down the mixing it with check trousers route…
